A Big Orange Mess...With a Life Lesson Learned!

So, I have recently been inspired by a good friend, Ada, to start a blog. This is kind of a whole new concept to me because I am usually not the one to write out these kind of things...so it's a new adventure for me and I'm excited to be starting something new, but you may have to bear with me. So, as I am starting this blog, I was pressured into writing my first one...Ada...but it was a little more diffcult than I intended. I was coming up with different ideas but I just didn't know where to start...then after thinking for a while, I knew exactly where I wanted to start it all...this summer.
I decided to spend my summer in Knoxville and to be honest I was sligthy afarid to because I didn't know what this summer would look like. I didn't know what to think because it wouldn't be the same in my apartment or with a lot of people gone for summer. But, what I quickly realized is that this summer could be one of the best that I have had. I have learned a few important lessons this summer that will carry on with me forever...1) wear sunscreen when spending the day at the pool 2) do not go to a sketch sonic in Georgia 3) do not drive little red (my car) when it is pouring down 4) I have a potentional career in the rapping business and most importantly 5) friends and family are one of the greatest things a person can have.
All my life, I have heard people tell me multiple times that the friends and family you have come into your life for a reason. Yes, I have always believed that but this summer I find it true more than ever. After hearing someone recieve terrible and tragic news, it left me thinking about my own life and the value it holds. I never know when my last breath will be or that of the people close to me...so I have truly learned to cherish the people in my life and make the most out of the time I have on this Earth. I know this may be starting things out on a serious note, but it was something that was on my heart. I have realized how much my friends and family mean to me and how blessed I am to have them in my life. I have also had the chance this summer to get to know some people better, and I am so excited for our friendships to grow stronger. I am surrounded by wonderful, genuine, and encouraging people, and I pray that I am as good of a friend as they are to me.

But on another note...As I mentioned earlier one of the lessons I have learned this summer, is that I have the potentional to be in the rapping business. So, I just wanted to give you a little taste of what that could look like...this is my first rap that Ada decided to write...this is how we spend our summer time..haha!
